My partner and I have stayed at Sliabh Liag Camping Park twice this year in our camper van and have been delighted with both visits.

It’s a lovely, modern campsite in a fantastic location. The Rusty Mackerel is about a 5-minute walk away, while the Sliabh Liag Visitor Centre and Café is just a minute down the road.

The showers are probably the best we’ve come across on a campsite. Each shower room has its own toilet, sink and mirror, and they are kept absolutely spotless. There’s also a good campers’ kitchen, on-site Wi-Fi and sensor-activated safety lighting at night.

When we first visited in late August, there was also an on-site pizza hut, with €15 pizzas that seemed very popular.

At €35 a night, including electric and showers, we think it’s very good value. The site is clean, well maintained and clearly cared for by the staff.

We’ve really enjoyed both stays and will definitely be back. Highly recommended for anyone touring Donegal in a camper van! 🚐👍

A great stop over in this lovely spot. Lots of facilities for campers, even on-site pizza. Entertainment was the Katie Taylor fight on a communal screen and the nearby Rusty Mackerel. Highly recommend.

Friendly and hassle-free welcome after booking, clean toilets and showers, good location for excursions nearby, great pub within walking distance! However, our pitch wasn't suitable for our awning, as we couldn't get the pegs into the hard ground. Very difficult to maneuver in the strong wind! Otherwise, everything was fine!

Spacious gravel pitches with surrounding greenery. Very friendly and attentive staff. Excellent Wi-Fi coverage. Exceptional bathrooms and showers with mixer taps. Small but cozy kitchen and laundry room. The convenient path starting from the campsite offers a breathtaking view of the cliffs from above.

A very nice spot and a great base for exploring the stunning cliffs of Sliabh League. There are "bathrooms" with hot showers in small containers, a well-equipped camper's kitchen, and lovely pitches, some with grassy verges.

This is a great overnight or couple of day stopover. We are motorhome travelers and stayed the night following a hike up the mountain. Great views from the top. The camping area is basic, but all the essentials are there, toilets, showers, motor hom service point ect. There is the shuttle bus station next to the site, a visitors centre, cafe with great food and drinks, a village pub that is known for great food and live music.

A very nice and quiet campsite with spacious pitches. Dogs are welcome. The sanitary facilities are clean, and showers are included in the price. The reception staff is very friendly. The price of €35 without electricity in high season was perfectly reasonable for us. This campsite is the perfect starting point for a hike to the Sliabh Liag cliffs. You can reach the cliffs in about 50 minutes on foot along the road. Alternatively, you can take the shuttle bus directly from the campsite up to the cliffs. However you choose to get there, the cliffs are definitely worth a visit. There's a café next to the campsite, and a pub is about a 10-minute walk away. We would definitely come back.
