Your Best Adventure

The Appalachian Trail

The Appalachian Trail is over 3500km long and over 300 million years old and the only trail in the world to span over ocean running from Memphis to Maine and entering Europe at Sliabh Liag (Slieve League), Co. Donegal.

Sliabh Liag Boat Trips

Sliabh Liag Boat Trips is the best way to witness Europe’s highest accessible sea cliffs from below. Boat trips and tours run several times throughout the day from Teelin harbour.

Glencolmcille Folk Village

The Folk Village Museum is a cluster of several small cottages, called a ‘clachan’, perched on a hillside overlooking the sandy curve of Glen Bay Beach in the Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking area) of South West Donegal.

Silver Strand Beach

Also known as Malin Beg Beach, it is deemed one of the best beaches in Donegal. It is an incredibly popular tourist spot for that reason and it’s no surprise. It is a beautiful secluded bay with horse-shoe shaped cliffs surrounding it.

We had a great stay. Ciaran and Killian were super helpful providing us with information and making us feel very welcome. Superb location, walking distance to the amazing cliffs. Not far from the campsite is a traditional pub with live music and a nice cafe is also close by. Highly recommended

Fabulous 'work in progress' campsite right at the foot of Sliabh Liag. Ciaran and Killian are excellent hosts with exciting ideas for this campsite. A great pub serving tasty food and live music within a 5 min walk. Full electric hookup and water on van pitches and great shower facilities in the visitor center right beside the campground. Camp kitchen facilities are to be fully functional in a week or two. A Cafe and giftshop are also located beside the campground and access to the pier and the mountain trails are very close by. When fully finished this is going to be awesome....will definitely be back.

Fantastic campsite in an amazing location. The owner and his family were so welcoming and helpful. Went the extra mile to make sure our large ground had an amazing stay. He even organised a campfire so kids could roast marshmallows at night. 10/10 for everything. 100% will stay again.

Amazing little campsite sat 5 minutes from the sea. Great for tents and pitches for motorhomes and camper vans. Recycling, hot showers and off the beaten track. Great cliffs 20 minutes up the road and a nice little town to go out for dinner. The owner was super accomodating and made our stay outstanding.

This is the sweetest spot run by an extraordinary host -Ciarán. He told us all about the area and recommended the perfect pub (within walking distance) for tasty food, drinks, and live music. Based at the foot of the cliffs, you can walk to touring office for shuttle up the hill. The spot is raw for now with gorgeous future plans. And has the best shower/ bathrooms of any camping spot we’ve stayed at! You know it’s good when locals come. We stayed an extra day. Thanks for the hospitality Ciarán, we’ll be back!
